Thanks. What a great guide.

I need to know more about the command structure of ARMA and how it change the behavior comparing in PRBF2.

Another thing, where do you put the medic at? Fireteam?

I know quite little about it now because I have only played one hour.

Oh, Medic is not a limited asset?

And, in a single group, max players is?

Great guide, i think ones needs to be written with added specific tactics for PR mode/maps.

I noticed in PR:arma2 specifically aram2 guys coming over to PR mod, although they generally make great sq leaders they need to lay off a bit on the mil-sim and learn to work PR's game mechanics.

for example using sq rally packs effectively is essential. you want to avoid dragging your sq towards an objective from faraway fobs or even worse the main base as much as possible. most people don't like messing around at main base waiting for air lifts or driving for 30min or taking long 15min hikes only to have to do it again because everyone died without getting a single shot off. it gets boring real quick, minimizing the spawn distance keeps everyone engaged and puts the pressure on the enemy increasing the chances of capturing the objective or destroying that cache.

So to put it in point form.

1- Always build FO's as close as possible to the Objective.
2- Once the FO is up and you move your sq towards the objective be prepared to place sq rally point as close as possible to the objective, ideally in a location out of sight and not so hot/close to the objective that it blocks spawning.

And just as an addendum ... holding your squad off the objective and trying to engage the enemy in the surrounding hills will loose you the game (you could of course dedicate one squad or fireteam to seek and destroy).

Get on the objective, get the flag down, and move on to the next one.

Far from being gamey, when both sides are doing this ... the fire fights are mental. If people stay off the objectives, the game becomes a dull round of seek and destroy ... and if one side suddenly decides to actually attack the flags ... game over in 20 minutes.

However one problem with a FOB being too close to an objective, is the inevitable presence of enemy in the vicinity will suppress it.
