Default Two concerns about the Apache

Just two things I think should be changed with the current Apache in PR; they're not terribly important however.

The windsheild on the Apache seems to have a darker color, I'm assuming this is because it's been tinted, as some helicopter's windsheilds are in real life to reduce the glare from the sunlight.
This is somehwhat of a problem though, because it reduces the pilot's ability to see clearly out the windsheild if he is in a low-light area or is looking for infantry or vehicles camoflauged around other dark objects.
This isn't so much of a problem on Kashan, which is a brightly colored and lit map, but when the Apache is introduced to other, darker maps in 0.9 and beyond, it may become annoying.
If this dark tint was removed and the windsheild was totally translucent, it would help aid target identification for the pilot.

And also, the pilot has a very restricted veiw when using the free look option in the cockpit. Usually this isn't a problem, but I have had one occaision a while ago when I was dogfighting a Havoc on Kashan, and I was using the free look to see where he was, and this was made much more difficult because I couldn't look as far to the left and right as I could on other choppers.
The free look for the Apache should really just be the same as the other helicopters, just to make things easier.

Again, not really major issues, but they may become more problomatic in the future as the Apache is put on new maps.

Overall, though, nice work on the AH-64. It is one of my favorite vehicles in the game. The only other things it needs is the Longbowz Syztemz and Thermalz.

Well on part one of that lets make sure the tint isn't actually realistic before its removed. Realism IS the key in this mod, a bigger problem being that the AH-1 can fire 38 rockets when the dual pods it has only alots for 14 rockets???!!! Sure you cant change up the original BF2 skin that is the cobra but you CAN make it fire only 14 rockets. Realism IS the key, look at the mod name.

As allways project reality is still a game and therefor it must apply to the players not only whit milsim but also game-play, thats why some things must be comparable to the enemy teams vehicles like armament for one.

Mate, the rocket pods on Apaches can be interchanged for different loadouts for different missions. They can have extra fuel tanks, all rockets, all hellfires, none, all hellfire or as is ingame, a mixture of the two.

I don't think the AH-1 needs 38 rockets in the name of balance. Given it's never on maps where the enemy has a helicopter anyway, it's not in the name of symmetrical balance. The rockets don't come into play a whole lot anyway because the Gun/Missile combo is generally much more effective and used from a stable platform.

If changing the number of rockets did create a balance issue, surely a minor change to the USMC's capabilities as a TEAM could compensate for it anyway.

Longbow is in CA, not here because it allows you to acquire targets yourself and not need a spotter. Thermal is also in CA, not here for the same reason.

Removing the tint from the glass would be nice though

They are slightly tinted in real life, however not as much as in PR, myself I haven't found it really annoying.

Should we have it compulsory to have little showers on your PC to make the experience uber realistic, as though they actually were just sitting in a hole in the jungle when it's raining waiting and watching from their OP, and little electrical charges that shock the player when he is hit?

Real warfare is boring. Therefore realism cannot be the sole key to this GAME. Also the Apache can change it's loadout every time it is back at base, it could have 28 rockets, maybe more.
