Post does the fallujah main base need moving?

After some reading around, i was wondering if you think fallujah would benefit from moving the US main. I originally intended the dome of death to be much larger around the current main, but something somewhere broke.

As i dont get much time to play, im asking you, as I am currently working on the map, if the gameplay would be better if I made a fortified compound elsewhere on the map.

Here are some locations I had in mind. Im thinking 1 or 3

Please vote, or to keep it the same, or tell me somewhere else you think would be good.

Please vote if you have played the map alot.

The other stuff is basic changes, just adding a few new buildings but mainly replacing all the sidewalks, which I have made difficult for myself.

Thanks for the input guys. Here is an expanded draught of #5, which i guess il stick with, because of votes. I will put some more features inbetween it and the city now.

Watertower ladder removed and breachable gates added to the large archways access.







/\ ignore the old road going across the base hehe, will fix.

Please not 1, 2 or 3. Searching these small houses in this area is one of best parts on this map. A base 50 meters from there would destroy this feeling imo.

Spot 5 IMO, a nice HESCO compound round there would be nice

agree, you can get some really good fire fights round there

I think nr.5 because its in the open, and its not so far north. I like the areas to the north-west so I would like them to remain playable.

If you do 5 you would have to move the insurgents base imo.

Number 5 would be fine but others would be alot worse than current one, they are all close to awesome fighting spots which wouldnt be awesome fighting spots if there would be mainbase next to em =) but number 5 has lots of space for hesco fortification.

I suggest to make just L shaped wall from Hescos and behind it all vehicles and spawn and repair place, that way nobody thinks its a mainbase, instead they think its a spawnpoint and therefore raping of it wont be so tolerated among admins.

Then you could edit current mainbase and northeast corner of the map, russian apartment houses and afghan building pieces are the funniest ones for cache searching/defending imo =) I have played fallujah alot, my favorite map ^^

Anywhere west of 4 & 5 would be fine as I concur the best firefights I've had on this map where in the 1 & 2 areas.

The only problem with this change is that assaults on the 1 area would come from the south rather then east which had a much more interesting approach both for defenders & attackers while the south part is a bit bare.
So perhaps add something to the southern approach to keep it 'interesting'

I voted keep it the same. There are scenarios irl where firebases are amid a city and ambushes on it can be mounted from very close.

EDIT also I did not write this \/ sometimes it gets attatched when I hit post and I edit it out. Any idea how to get rid of it ?

1 or oposite side, where insurgency are. I dont know the old place isnt that bad. I voted 1 if u adde some nice buildings and towers.
