When not on CQC it's the best weapon overall (semi to far distances) and giving it less recoil would take away the only weakness it has ingame.

(Just from a game standpoint)
The high power of the G3 makes double-taps very deadly in CQB.

Imo, G3 pwns all other rifles, which is sad because I like progressive weapons(AK-series, SVD) better.

It could also depend on stance, if you are laying down the kickback could be less because it has more contact points with your body depending on how you hold it. The force pushing back on you could be spread through your whole body + world while laying down. It will have more surface area to push against thus having less climbing up.

G3 is my favorite weapon in game, awesome long range power and RAPES m16 in CQB and if you counteract the recoil with mouse control (like IRL you would with a various methods ) it is VERY controllable

G3 more recoil in pr than real life and rifles dont uses by civilians uses by soldiers.Soldiers stronger than other people cuz they work everyday for fight. They control rifles easy than others.I think g3's need little less recoil than now.

If you are ever going to engage someone with full-atuo with this gun always aim under so the recoil works to your advantage.

147 gr. 7.62x51mm NATO will contain 3,352 Jules of energy at the muzzle.

The G3 should have at LEAST 85% more recoil than AR-15 platforms (Newton's third law gives us this conclusion). I don't have the skills to properly add variables previously mentioned, but the AR-15 is built to channel all recoil straight backwards into the shoulder, not affecting recoil, but theoretically eliminating muzzle climb. AFAIK, the G3A3 is not built upon such properties.
I study physics and even I didn't really understand this: what the hell? Newtons third law states that to every action there's an reaction with equal force but oposite trajectory (so if the force is on the X axis and action force Fa and reaction Fr then it's Fa=-Fr)Now at this point the kickback is absolutely the same on both weapons and no design changes will affect that.

Moving on: when the smokeless powder in the cartrige ignites and the gas expands it goes evenly in ALL directions (forward backward up etc). Since the expansion is limited, it pushes the bullet out and then by the law we have that the weapon is pushed BACK but NOT upwards.

Why it goes up? You hold the weapon and the force pushes it back. But since it can't go back withouth blowing your arm off the shoulder everything goes up (force arm, not sure if that's how you translate it). Now the weapons have a slanted muzle to compensate for this a bit but that's something all of them have.

Oh wow, a Lithuanian...never met one of you guys

The G3 weighs 5.54 kg (12.2 lb) with the optic sight (Holy crap!). That's a bit heavier than the A4 with ACOG, which, if memory serves, weighs around 10 pounds.

like i said, if you counter act recoil with mouse movement its very controllable even at 50m~ you could hit targets full auto.... tho i would single shot at that range.

I'm not so good at doing that at around 10m or so; I need more practice. Usually I'm an officer on MEC, so I simply rely on my pistol as I'm in "giving orders" mode and not "taking names" mode.
