PR uses MI-17. I know, they look very similar, but MI-17 have tail rotor on the left side and MI-8 on the right. Thats how you can separate them.

not really, this a way to distinguish oldest versions from relatively new or modernized, but they still can be Mi-8, but with letters after, Mi-8MT or Mi-8MTKO for example, lots of machines have different designations, so its at the same time Mi-8 and Mi-17

in the pr objective files it called the MI-8, thats what i was going off. Either way what i said in my first post still applies.
