I like the effect as it is. If it were simple blackness, it wouldn't be as obvious what happened. And yeah, the drunk effect doesn't look like a good alternative.

The black-white effect of coughing is alright, but this sucks. Especially on insurgents who can't get medical help that easily, it ruins the whole gameplay. And yes, it's unrealistic.

I think human can do things pretty well even if he's hit in the arm or leg, for some time at least. Of course it is painful and that's why I'd like the sound only.
Yeah, the blood effect is to notify that you're bleeding and you need medic. It's OK for everyone except the insurgents, as they don't get that medic so easily. The effect is so "heavy" that you can't really fight, only wait until you bleed to death. |
