Unfortunately that was the only fix that could be conceived at the time because the previous system was so broken that people were not able to request kits for a large amount of time. It was pretty much rather: "Being able to request kits, but run the possibility of some exploitation?" or "Not being able to request kits at all." Hopefully dbzao can find a fix for that.

I dont get all the fuzz about the scoped LMG. I used it before the way I use it now, the only difference is I do not get eyebleed trying to shoot at ranges beyond 250. Did the overall accuracy increase ? I cant tell if I take more bursts to kill at long ranges than before.

agree, supression is really usefull.
I actually used it before the patch!, never before was able to use it correctly, now its easy to get ppl pinned down and actually flank them (and get pinned down and flanked lol) |

I still would like to get the iron sight version in addition. Sometimes its better to have an overview.
Also, yes please stop Insurgents from picking them up. Is it possible to sidelock kits? |

Worst idea ever. If insurgeant can't pick up enemy kits, many if not most people, will probably stop playing that game mode. I really hope that nothing like this ever gets implamented into PR. If you want to use the auto-sniper rifle, be prepared to get killed by it urself. If you can't handle other people owning u with your own weapon, go play singleplayer.

I share the sentiments of previous posters. Whilst never being a fan of scoped weapons at all (I'm very old fashioned), having the AR with a scope is realistic (modern age) and I guess it delivers realistic performance in PR.
Not allowing the insurgency to pickup that particular kit would be a slap in the face but someone mentioned not being able to being up all enemy kits (that's what it came through as but it probably wasn't what was meant) and that would truly be a huge turn off personally. |

That may be fair in most situations for conventional forces, but for insurgents it is neither balanced or realistic. There is nothing stopping an insurgent from using a stolen rifle, and they definitely have shown the willingness to do so (against Iraqi army/police, Afgani army/police, Pakistani army/police and very occasionally US forces). BY not having the insurgents being able to pick up kits, the Americans lose an incentive not to die.
