Hey all,
Just did some recording with Fraps and a M-24 SWS. It should be illustrating how weird the PR stabilizing system can be. I just ask myself : "Where did that damn bullet go ?" I'll add more videos. Check it out : YouTube - WhereDidMyBulletGo BF2 problem ? PR problem ? Is it related to what some dudes call the "1st shot never hits" ? Can't find out. Thanks. PS : I know that even watching it in HD and full screen, some details are unnoticeable, but trust me, I got their heads in the middle of the crosshairs. |

Your problem is your aim.
You're hitting, but you're hitting the arms. (You can tell cause characters twitch like that when hit) Try aiming slightly above their heads, or from that distance, at the very top of their heads, and you will kill them. I don't know why, but snipers aren't actually zeroed at 600 metres. The MEC sniper gets bullet drop at less than 400 even. |

Could be true yeah. I was only 300m from their main, so I didn't think about compensating.
I'll try it out dude. |

It works for me and for some others ... 8 seconds is enought, and keep in mind the zero range to find the elevation. The rest is a question of using the rifle to get friendly with !

yes those sniper rifles are proteaceous little things.
But what im thinking is it not the bullet drop or any thing that effected web, he was too close for it to be much of a factor. In BF2, if people aren’t dying when you shot them it usually hit reg error. Or it might be a bug with the sniper rifles who knows. |

bullet shouldnt drop like that, you wouldnt be able to see the target on this game due to fog of war before the bullet went far enough to drop.
