qwai river bridges

Hey was just wondering if this is a bridge from qwai river and if so... I think this bridge should be brought in game. Could be cool with some more cover at the bridge and if the river was just as wide that would be rly cool as well. what do u think?

The devs use actual satellite images (or just google earth?) for their maps and replicate it exactly (to an extent). You think Qwai river is a 1km river? No, it stretches out for miles, therefore the devs chose a certain section of Qwai to do, and its not that part.

Well SkaterCrush, that isn't always the case tbh. Some of our maps are based havily on the real location, much like Muttrah, I tried to get that as close to the real thing as possible, unfortunately didn't have any good satellite images at the time I had to rely on a basic road map of the area and work off references images and think I did a pretty good job on it, then just as I was nearing to finish Google finally got some good satellite images of it, shame it was too late by then

But ye, other maps use satellite images as references, and others are 100% made up locations with just uses references from that sorta area to make the map.

Qwai was one of these I'm pretty sure, it isn't a true representation of what's really there but what it dose offer is a realistic feel and some realistic combat which is what PR is about

Qwai came absolutely %100 out of my head....not a ribbon of reality in the whole map..

I think it's interesting that one day some guy from the real Muttrah might stumble on this video game where one of the most popular levels is a replica of his neighborhood.

So Qwai River is a made up map... I'm a bit confused then... is it an acutal place or what? Will there be any chance for a version 2 in the future?

He means the map is not representative of the real place, which wasn't used for reference.

Qwai is an actual place....but i didnt use anything but the name on my map..

it from an old movie..."the bridge over the river Kwai"
