yeah.. they got a weeee bit lost at some point.. but het=y techinncally its all connected by land so it COULD happen..

My guess is the model's main use wasn't just on Fool's Road with Russians. Maybe it's been used on maps featured in Iraq, or it's from another mod that had an Iraqi flag put on it.

It's a bit of a small thing. In turn, good eye spotting it.

they are 2 hand apcs used by iraq soldiers in gulf war then they are saled on black market to chechens .mate you forgot the story of this map i think in 0.7 was british( prev. version )has sended by un security concul to stop black market in this area and capture some leader on rebels (prev. version again ) in kozelsk you can see aslo used BMP3 (may be from kashan ) cheers

Come on, it's a BMP-2, why should it be uncommon in Chechnya?
Even if it was placed to represent arms dealers, it fits the RAF vs. Chechen rebels setting well. It's just a destroyed BMP the militia suceeded to destroy.
