The entire part about logistic truck, repair crates and engineer not allowed to repair anymore is the worst unecessary part of 0.85 in my opinion, most of the new features are nice.

I do apreciate having more light transport such as humvee then supply truck though. There was way to many of these back in 0.8

I find the logistics trucks a new strategic vehicle that needs to be used wisely in order to be used effectively.

On Muttrah, only having one supply truck to repair both APCs makes it often a case of an APC sqd with 4 crewmen and the other two in the logistics truck.

On Kashan, the need for a logistics truck is paramount, though there are very few places to actually repair without being shot at range.

I could see improvements being done, especially allowing the combat engineer to use his wrench to increase repair speed when used on a vehicle near a repair drop, but it is still overall better than the vanilla-ish way the wrenched worked before.

Well, not really. It's also important to be able to request special kits directly near the front line, instead of having to go back to your main base every time.

I actually like the new logistics system with the supply and transport trucks beeing able to carry crates. It's a cool feature and you have to pay more attention what you do with the trucks and it also adds a potential "logistics squad" who can organise the whole supplying the fighting troops. It's true that there are still some people who tend to letting the trucks lying around and eventually getting destroyed, but I think it improved and hope it will improve further when people get more aware of the importance of the trucks.

But I also think that the commander should be given a new role / other possibilities somehow. As it is now, during all the games I had since .85 there has been no commander on the team. He isn't really needed, as most squads tend to do whatever they like anyway and don't depend on the commander anymore.

so if my squad is defending something, a truck drops off supplies and gets killed on the other side of the map, my supplies dissapear?

and what happens when a truck brings supplies to several squads?

I think the transport trucks should get 3 medium sized ammo crates instead of the one supply crate. This way kit request and construction can only happen from actions of the logistics trucks or helicopters. And you wouldn't see squads taking these just for the crates.

And the logistics trucks should get 4 supply crates. Or more. This would promote a dedicated logistics driver. Being able to take 1 truck and supply multiple squads. And people are always asking for ammo in the middle of nowhere or after dropping off your supplies. It would be nice if you could drop them a crate and still have 2 left for the squad on the front line wanting to build. Plus 2 log trucks could potentially supply all 8 rally points with a crate each. More vehicles will lose us more tickets in the end, better vehicles will get us more dedicated drivers in the end.
