Adding this in- runways should still be destroyable in actual games, not just in training. While I'm on the topic, how about making the runways so you ACTUALLY have to use them? Taking off and landing on the strip of flat land next to the rwys kinda defeats the purpose of it being destructible.

I think the old training minimod offered the best compromise. All the vehicles on one map, kits anyway, it wasn´t abused like it is now, and you could dogfight, well, do anything really on one map.

The problem is people join training servers with 40 people on expecting to train properly. Nothing is stopping people going on another server thats empty with TS. At least the training server keeps the smacktards away from normal server (which quite a few would go to rather than just leave". Meh, I don´t know, I have had some good fights on the training servers, and nothing prepares you for the real thing like having to evade and defeat multiple determined MEC aa.

The whole point of even being on the mec team is to shoot down enemy helicopters or planes or just to get simply raped when you spawn. Adding the right amount of vehicles and what not to both teams instead of having everything on one team will solve allot of the BS and whining people that play in the training servers.

they should remove the mec team completely i know it sounds stupid but if someone is new to the game as soon as they fly over bombing range boom same with helis they can prctise landing in bunkers

I am back to play pr fly choppers and hopefully join tordiments i am back and i am ready to play

ok THE BOMBING RANGE IS FOR BOMBING ITS NOT THE MEC BASE ITS FOR THE US TO BOMB. sorry for my rude acsions dont like it when peaple say bombing range is a base

You could practice dogfights on the Qinling Training map. Problem is there is rarely any server that hosts it.

Seconded, because Quinling still has Runway + Performance + View distance issues compared to kashan.

Guys... Fuzzhead just said it's NOT supposed to be a balanced arcade deathmatch fight, hence MEC aren't intended to be given aircraft (although China is on Qinling).

You can still grab a Mig and an F16 as US and mock dogfight over Kashan, only difference is you don't lock on to each other. If locking on to targets takes practice then I'd be surprised if you can hit anything with a rifle. Also remember that you can still play on Qinling training if you're really craving some real dogfighting with frequently spawning jets.

I agree there is a degree of useful training involved in avoiding and fighting AA, but the way it's currently implemented isn't ideal IMO. I would prefer to see AA tanks restricted to the bombing range (properly) so they can't go camping outside airfields or deny large areas of the map.

@ Fuzzhead, have you contemplated adding more types of PR vehicles/aircraft to Kashan?

The British and Chinese assets are already on Qinling but I don't see the harm in adding them to Kashan as well.
