yes, you are right. The poll is hardly scientific as people cannot rank their choices and they can select more than one map -thus mixed percentages. The values (%) is more reflective of a ratio of people who participate and the maps they select.

for example: 46% percent of people who participated in this poll selected Tad Sae as one (of several) of their favorites.

Kozelsk- Would probably be the best map along with Fallujah IMO if there were 6 man CO trucks instead of the 2 seater ones, especially for Russians. The battles usually don't go past the first 2 flags which is a shame. When the Tunnel Complex is a flag, the combat is especially brutal. Had an epic 30 minute firefight in the tunnels alone until we finally went down in a blaze of glory by the Russians.

Fallujah- By far the best and most realistic urban map. Only thing wrong with it is that the USMC need some more tickets because they usually lose a lot fast with idiots taking vehicles out of the main and getting them blown up as soon as they get out of the gate. Nice mix of urban and rural combat as well with the fields and marshes.

Ramiel- The second best and second most realistic map in PR only to Fallujah IMO.

Asad Khal- Wayyyy to vanilla IMO. It is basically a new version of Operation Phoenix IMO and the layout is strangely similar as well. Its just too small. The games on can be fun, but it also comes down to spam and vanilla tactics.

Muttrah- Only thing that hurts it is that the US can lose half their tickets in the span of 10 minutes by retarded pilots and apcs.

Operation Archer Redux- Good map. Too often though, the US tries to set up a firebase in the hilltop castle which is basically pointless and doesn't help, but besides that, it makes for a good desert/long range battle with some urban mixed in.

Fool's Road- Much improved over the past Fool's Road and the random flags are a fun change, but like Kozelsk, it needs more 6 seater CO trucks so people can actually get to the battlefield.

Kashan- If the Bunkers were underground like the Chinese main on Barracuda, it would be cool, but infantry doesn't stand a chance on this map and after you lose your tank in the first 10 minutes, the map becomes a bore fest.

Barracuda- A lot more balance now, but just needs some boats for USMC IMO and maybe an apc or 2 instead of as many choppers. That way, beach assaults could happen.

Korengal Valley- Still a good unique rural insurgent map, but it can be ruined by insurgents camping the US main. I was an insurgent and you can basically get right up to the US main and camp it, even with the bubble of death. IMO, the bubble needs to be widened so they are at least close to the edge of the village to prevent this.

Qwai River- Still a good solid PR map. Nice to see the new flags in it as well, but it needs more 6 seater CO trucks like the rest of the maps or else you are walking most of the time.

Basrah- Its becoming a little outdated IMO, but since the UK lose tickets for losing assets, the Insurgents actually have a decent chance of winning now. IMO, the Brits still need to lose the Challenger though as it is overkill oftentimes since there are also APCs and Schimitars.

EJOD- Still a good solid desert map. Needs more 6 seater CO trucks though or else you are walking through the desert lol.

Nice review SOF, and good feedback (about design and game play).. Also, I was wondering what your thoughts were on 6 seater CO trucks :P

Asad Khal is pure refined win. Every building is enterable, zero lag or slowdown, great fields and terrain for ambushes, it is the perfect infantry map. The only problem is the stairs, when trying to get down them, you have to jump onto them. Now make it bigger and throw in some APCs

- Kozelsk is IMO one of the best maps in PR right now. The whole map is so detailed - it is a pleasure to run around look at the beautiful stuff and outflank the enemy.

- Qwai River

- Operation Phoenix its not on the list, but I love this map
