Insurgents pwn

molotovs pwn

rpgs pwn

mortars pwn

sks pwns

bombcars pwn

Technicals pwn

the amount of pwnage in the above indicates that insurgents pwn and will only get pwned if they let the coalition pwn them

if you truely believe that insurgents exist only to make blufor have a good time, then yell when you join an insurgency game and I'll join insurgents and show you just how much 'fun' you can have

its so simple, insurgents ingame like IRL have to fight on their own terms if they want to win. That means ambush, that means not moving outside the city when enemy armour is present, that means camping bottlenecks with IEDs etc.

Then why not just remove the autobalance in insurgent maps and let people decide which part they think is fun
To clear it up,i dont think a faction with tanks/RPs can be considered insurgency.

Coalition pwns(most of the time they win)+(medics, kits spawn points easy to deploy bunkers firebases air support better transport better weapons better armor better sprint etc. etc.)

Grenadier+refillable 4 nades pwn molotovs

LATs HATS pwn RPGs(in terms of availability+numbers+big scoped rifle/a rifle with IS 2xbetter accuracy+accuracy of ATs)

Mortar fire is something more BS than JDAM,like a visual enhancement. Also Tanks/APCs own mortars and most importantly civies.

SkS pwns shotguns and maybe pistols, anything other than that is your imagination

Bombcars dont pwn but fun to drive, they are pwned by humvees/APCs/Tanks.

Technicals pwn, well its fun to patrol in ramiel with 2 technicals untill a Stryker/HMV sees you.

YOu cant even find one squad to defend a newly captured flag in most of the public games, who do u think have the patience to set up an ambush and wait for enemy for minutes?

Its an interesting self observation that maybe %80 of the time insurgents happen to lose, losing is not a big deal but getting killed over and over and over again is not, especially after falling down from 2 meter high roof and spending rest of the minute bleeding and dying+ 60+xseconds to spawn+ y seconds/minutes it takes to hook up with your squad/cache again.

One more thing,Ins have to kill around 200 coalition troops to win, which means as an insurgent in order to win you have to play same map as insurgent for at least 2 hours. There is no shortcut for win.

Btw dont expect to have fun in a general way, insurgents are there to make coalition player have some fun,turkey-shoot syle. Not the other way around. So think of it like a civic duty of PR,ever once in a while you let your PR mates rape you, like taxes or military service, thats it.
wrong. playing INS is very fun , its a different style of play (thats the main problem with players).

Insurgency could be fun, but their spawns in 0.8 suck. 0.75 spawns in Al Basrah were just great, and if I've understood correctly, they are coming back as 5min random spawns?

If you build the hideouts correctly, they work fine. We could use two or so more though...

If you stay by the cache with your SL, you don't need medics.
The BluFor's bunkers are significantly harder to deploy than the INS hideouts.
Pilots tend to suck. Advantage negated.
Excluding helicopters, which have a nasty tendency to get you killed, the INS has better transport.
Better sprint? What?
Of course they have better armor, the BluFor is generally a very powerful nation. However, Molotovs own armor. Plus, if you stay near the caches, in the city, the armor can't do a damn thing.

Grenadier+refillable 4 nades pwn molotovs

Squad leader kit + cache = the same thing as the grenadier.

LATs HATS pwn RPGs(in terms of availability+numbers+big scoped rifle/a rifle with IS 2xbetter accuracy+accuracy of ATs)

Let the armor get close, and don't get impatient. Even an RPG can hit something when it's close.
The second part of this sentence confuses me.

Mortar fire is something more BS than JDAM,like a visual enhancement. Also Tanks/APCs own mortars and most importantly civies.

Okay, mortars suck and civies suck. They're not crucial to success. Don't use them.

SkS pwns shotguns and maybe pistols, anything other than that is your imagination

Then use the IEDs that comes with the kit in combination with the SKS. Lie in ambush, blow up the IED, rush the confused soldiers with the SKS and the bayonet.

Bombcars dont pwn but fun to drive, they are pwned by humvees/APCs/Tanks.

They destroy everything in one hit. How is that not pwning?

Technicals pwn, well its fun to patrol in ramiel with 2 technicals untill a Stryker/HMV sees you.

Two technicals will destroy a HMMWV, and certianly damage a Stryker. If that doesn't work, drive away and get an RPG.

YOu cant even find one squad to defend a newly captured flag in most of the public games, who do u think have the patience to set up an ambush and wait for enemy for minutes?

Make a squad and lead them right. If you deploy hideouts in the right places, the rest of the team will naturally fall into place.

Stay near a cache and near your squad leader. Squad leader + cache = unlimited field dressings = not bleeding out.

So?

We all miss the random spawns but we wont be getting them back, because the DEV's said that with so many random spawns the server craches, somthing i dont belive, because i never had a problem with the battle arena or with any server playing insurgency.

So battlearena only crashed for everyone else after each round?

But yes, for now, random spawns are gone due to them and caches being the leading causes for such high network object counts[BF2 maps can only have 1024 and that includes RPs, caches, spawns, soldiers, destructibles, etc. Anything dynamic]

So yeah, unless things change thats how itll be

So, that would mean, IF you would get 114 players in-game, around 50+ objects need to be removed from every map in order not to get a crash?

I find it harder and harder to enjoy the insurgent side of these maps.

As many said, long spawn times + inferior normal weapons + limited spawn points are a huge part of frustration.

That and the stacking...

My suggestion is as always:

Lower hideout distance to 300 meters.
Add 1-2 extra hideouts.
Lower spawn by 10 seconds.
Fix collaborator (replace with scout/do 7.5 spawn times with increased death penalty on repeated death/ limit the kit if you die to much as collaborator/ANYTHING)
Let squad leaders with 3 in squad demolish hideouts instantaneously.
