Korengal came out after we took out the Random rally points. Thats why Korengal and other INS maps don't have the issues.

I think, the biggest problem is that the Insurgents are bored. I like Insurgents but only if there are some cool fights. I've played many times on basrah where i was in a Insurgent Squad which where bored. Walking hours in desert... Then, you get hit on your legs or somewhere else and its over. You're bleeding. No chance to survive as a insurgent.

9. Insurgents should have something like a combat medic with few field dressings. Maybe no medikit but a few field dressings. So they'll have a chance to survive, if they get hit.

I used to hate the new Insurgency, but then I learned to play it, and now I love it.

As the insurgents, you must:
Deploy your hideouts in varied locations BEFORE a cache shows up.
Stick together with your squad.
STAY NEAR THE CACHES.
Keep your vehicles alive.

You can NOT succeed if you:
Are very far away from the rest of your squad.
Don't deploy hideouts.
Play the game mode like AAS.
Run around like a chicken without a head just hoping you find some people to kill.
ARE FAR FROM THE CACHES!

Collaborators ruin game play and aren't played realistically as everyone knows. I think they need to be taken out of the game or they need to be seriously redone, game play-wise

This is the one thing that bugs me the most. I know we can't force players to change, but we can make game restrictions to help them change.

I know it sounds good to make the Insurgent team create their own hideouts and stay close to the caches, but let's be honest: how is it realistic to expect that in a public game? To make Insurgent maps a bit more pub-friendly, the Insurgents really need 'random' spawns close to caches, but not directly on them. (I'm thinking a timed rally every time a new cache comes up, but could this cause suicide problems?)

Collaborators are a failure for the simple fact that there is no way for them to be anything but the enemy as the game engine dictates. Just because they don't carry a gun doesn't mean they aren't insurgents. What would you call a guy who follows insurgents around and helps them in the middle of a gunfight, rides with them to battle, calls in mortar strikes, helps them climb into position, et cetera? These guys would realistically get wasted like everyone else because frankly nobody is going to look into a blob of enemies in a giant gun battle and look to see if he is sporting an AK. Civilians would be running the hell away. As such, I don't understand the point of collaborators other than to appease the people who want civilians running all over the place because sometimes that's the case (not always, depends on where you are). Not to mention that you get kicked from servers for trying to be a pro-US/Britain civilian and telling the occupation forces where the caches are, where the enemy is, and driving all the vehicles off to some random part of the map to deprive the insurgents of them. That gets you kicked. So much for being a civilian.

I agree about the civilian part ^

I think what insurgency needs is the OLD style of insurgency. Back in the pr 0.5 version style of kits. RPG spawn, different types of kits, with the professions such as the policeman, doctor(medic), mechanic(engineer) rpg gunner(rpg kit). Also the war veteran from the mec army.

The way I see every time theres a new patch the insurgents have less and less materials and kits, the army's have more and more.

I know everybody will hesitate and fight back but the 0.5 albasrah was very fun spawning up by the British main and ied's on the road, etc etc....

Seeing the new patch the insurgents are gonna have worse weapons, as the ambushers will be given a bolt action gun, its just a very good suggestion to bring the old kits back. (If so please bring back the old style of AK47, strong, accurate, not like the hard to sight and weak, inaccurate AK in the recent patches.)

Just an idea that might spark the fun and excitement of playing insurgency.

Reminds me of the old days doing ied's with mechanic kit on the forklift....


UNLESS, if this doesn't happen is it possible for me to run a PR 0.5 versionserver , I will upload the files I have for it, even for SP or whatever it will take to get it going again.

i think every thing is okay it could be better but the spawn system in my oppinion is horible i whats the point of building a firebace when the little bird can take it out. i think you guys need to give the insurgents the option of putting down rallies that or bring back the random spawns or let the cashes be spown points. whats the point of playing when you have to spanw at mosque and get shot once and bleed out on your way to the cash area.

And now they'll get their a10 back,like if it werent popular playing as coalition on an insurgency map or it was hard playing as coalition.
Btw dont expect to have fun in a general way,insurgents are there to make coalition player have some fun,turkey-shoot syle.Not the other way around.So think of it like a civic duty of PR,ever once in a while you let your PR mates rape you,like taxes or military service, thats it.
