Default Quad cannon Smoke

Anybody here play at "all high" 0xAA GFX settings? Well if you do. Then you may have seen that you can't use the quad cannons. Because as soon as you open fire, your view is obscured by all the smoke from the quad cannon firing. This in turn makes you lose site of your target. You can't see your own tracer rounds. In effect, this make the quad cannon useless.

I Request that the smoke be reduced in the next patch/version.

Anybody else seen this?

Can the smoke on AAs also be reduced? At least in 1p view? I lag out when firing missiles due the uber awesome smoke effect that murders my CPU

set AA to 2 or 4 and set shadows to like low.

16xAA 16xAF actually, but yes, I have seen that. Annoying IMHO. I would like to see some real footage where that smoke is present as I think there would be much more muzzle flash than smoke.

Yeah, this happened because I changed the tunguska effect and the cannons used the same, so I made a new one for the AAA so it had much less smoke, and a certain person only removed it from one barrel.

It was Rhin00bed AFAIK.. Quad cannon have, you guessed it, 4 barrels.. Thats Four barrels right?.. But note that only one of em dont give like ZOMGSMOKINGTIME smoke.

And be forever known as an exploiter. No Thanks. I Have said it before. I Think the PR Dev team should force every player to use "Medium" or Higher GFX settings no matter what. There is a thread about here somewhere.
