IMO it should disable a tank with one shot to the front armour... TOW is nasty

i remember one of the first time i made a post on the reality forums, it was a poll ranting about the inbalances in PR. and in that thread yet another gaming first was created...the term "assymetrical balance" where one team is deliberatly given a handicap to increase gameplay.

since then i have come to adore the concept.

True, but then you whoud have to introduce the T-90`s AT missile aswell, not to mention the BMP-3`s missile and so on, Not to forget the APC mounted HJ8 and so on..

Does this statement also apply to the milita TOW APC?

Currently it has:

100mm cannon with HE shells
30mm autocannon with AP rounds
7.62 coax machinegun

This is what it should have:

100mm cannon with HE shells
AT-10 ATGM's
30mm AP rounds
30mm HE rounds
7.62 coax
2 7.62 bow machineguns

BMP-3 Tracked Infantry Combat Vehicle Army Technology
BMP-3 Tracked Infantry Combat Vehicle Army Technology - Specifications

My suggestion for the weapon slots:

1: AT-10
2: 100mm HE rounds
3: 30mm AP rounds
4: 30mm HE rounds

And the coaxile 7.62 being the secundary weapon.

Also, there should be no delay when switching from the 100mm cannon to 30mm or the other way around.

As for the 2 bow machineguns, it could be nice to either:

1: Give both of them to the F3 seat
2: Give one to the F3 and one to the F4 seats.

This could actually make the BMP 3 more devastating with a squad or atleast a couple of guys inside, promoting "proper" use of this vehicle, as a vehicle in a squad instead of 2 guys on their own mission.

PS: Puuuurleeeeeez give us the bow machineguns

In the current Alpha build it has,

100mm HE frag shells
9M117 missiles
30mm AP/HE-I rounds*
7.62 coax
7.62 Bow machineguns **

* I'm currently getting confirmation on this, I have reason to believe it's not dual fed like the BTR90 so it only carries one or the other (AP rounds or HE-I rounds).

EDIT: Got the confirmation, it is dual fed so it will get both.

** Only going to happen as long as we don't have to re-import it to get the barrels rotating.

Why do you want the barrels to rotate?

i noticed something, i was on training server and fired a tow on hmmwv, when i realized its no longet hit where you point. a real tow is wired guided and will hit where you aim,. you have to hold it on target until it impacts, and yes you can change the path it goes.
