Pure keyboard for me, I don't do much flying, but when I do I can fly transport choppers to the level of "go directly from A to B without crashing the chopper"

The throttle is great for tank driving too, once you get the hang of it.
(clutch key is very useful if you want to stop and keep standing still)
Now you need case fans and a PSU with blue lights

I still have one,but it's all but useless as it doesn't keep centered,so
the plane just starts rolling. So I uses a "saitek" ("graffiti"?) that I got for 9.99 cad once.
I use the knife usually.

Nice Avatar btw Sanke,

Anyone uses the pedals with X52?

I know KA-50 is awesome, I hope its used in the russian mod.

Pedals are kinda useless, I mean they are great but $100 for the little pedals is outrageous

No joke, I've got an older wired one and hooked the USB port up then downloaded the drivers. Works for Ace Combat 6 and PR

I use joystick for flying planes, although my joystick is pretty... pretty bad(no not badass)... sometimes it doesn't think its centered so i have to hold it on a 15 degree angle to the left. It has a digital throttle which is almost useless considering i can only have it either on 0%, 50%, or 100% throttle in-game and it only has three buttons and its sensitivity isn't to good either, you push it forward half a degree in a chopper and your in a nose dive... i guess thats what happens when you buy the cheapest joystick you can find, at least i can fly my jets with it though...

I used to use the original x-box controllers to fly my planes in IL2, prefer using the joystick though because my computer doesn't like x-box contollers that much among other reasons.

Exiled.

How awesome is this weapon? Even the elevation knob and magazine have rails.

For my setup the wire is wayyyyy to short and sometimes i wish i could just connect the joystick because the throttle is useless sometimes.

Mouse and keyboard for helicopers.

Havent flow jets in PR but i know they are impossible to take off with a mouse.
