I was wondering if there were any plans of "fixing" the Blackhawk handling. The Blackhawk is by far, imo, the worst handling chopper in PR. It is terrible trying to land it. The slightest tilt backward or sideways will move it in that direction at really fast speeds. No other chopper has that problem. I'm wondering if they like the BH to behave that way (since its been handling this way since .5 I think) or if they do intend to change it.

I dont have this problem, mainly because i use a joystick rather than a mouse and keyboard. I dont really see a problem with the BH's handling, i'm sure the Devs made the handling as real as possible. Aircraft are and have always been very sensitive to the slightest movement in real life.

Agreed, however the Blackhawk is in a world of it's own. Compare it to the other helo's, it really is awful to fly, slips all the time. However if I'm told that's actually how it handles by someone who has actually flown one, then I'll suck it up some and go practice more.

Oh man BH handling is best second to LB.You can do incredible evasive manouevres unlike Huey/Cobra where a bit steep nose dive and you need hundreds of meters to recover.

I haven't noticed that problem in BH, its actually easier to land since it has wheels and you can just roll on the ground like a normal vehicle.
Although with the 0.8 changes I much prefer to fly the huey, it feels sooo much lighter than in 0.7, its easier to land, easier to maneuver. It just needs M60s on the sides and a speaker that plays the Ride of the Valkyries. |

dont have this problems. BH is great to fly/land/handle...
But the greatest thing to fly is the AH 64 in 0.8. Tested it this weekend. What a great thing! |

Eh, all the vehicles are easy to fly or control... the hard part is getting your team to give you intel on enemy or aa positions. D:
