Default Cache placement needs a look?

Ive noticed that with .8 caches placements have become slightly buggy, for example:

also on 2 occasions while playing archer, the cache blew up straight away while the deployment timer was counting down

just thought ill bring it up in case others are experiencing smiler things on the older insurgency maps

lol, that is quite a big one hehe. I have found a few slight floaters and sunk ones, but none flying like that hehe.

I will need to teach fuzzy a new workflow for doing these caches so he dosen't feck them up like this

We had that on Ramiel once. There was a red daimond in the NE corner of the map where there was a small villiage but there was no cache. I didn't think to look up at the sky to find it. We searched everywhere but we had no success, so we went for the other ones instead.

Had one buried on Basrah a few days ago, seemed to be caught between floors in one of the destructible buildings in the Slums.

Those can be found on the extreme west side of the map. If its that far too the east, check the far west at the same height North and South on the map.

will the caches be randomized again with the next release of PR? I have noticed on Korengal that the caches are in the exact same spot round after round, and it makes it very easy for the USMC side go from cache to cache without very many hiccups.

The caches are randomized. The issues with korengal was that once the Layail flag was capped the amount of selected caches were reduced to ones associated with the US base. Hence they seems to be the same ones. Fixes are in the works.
