I just want to add this about the Lee Enfield.

The militia faction has already been made over for the next patch (to not include the ironsight No. 4), however its sniper kit will still be using the scoped No. 4. And yes, it is because we do NOT have the artistic resources to create one, and in my opinion this is such a low priority asset that its placeholder (the enfield) more than does the job.

Thanks for the explanation Chuc, that's certainly an improvement. Hopefully we'll see a decent Nagant sniper by the time 0.9 is out.

Its a WW2 Rifle, no comparation whit a Modern SA-80 .. :S

.303 will stop any man in his tracks, even if the technology is older than he is.

Katanas can kill people in 2008, and they've existed for millennia; why can't a 70-year-old gun do the same?

Kind of off topic but whats wrong with the mosin basrah used to have? had a scope and everything. Was one shot kill too. (Which the enfield should be, or at least make them turn black and white)

I didn't think the old scoped Nagant looked bery good. At least it's scope wasn't very well rounded, had terrible edges. Maybe that's why it was dropped.

It was fine as a placeholder imo. Hopefully someone with some great art talent can redo it in the future as it is a great rifle with more history than just about anything else in PR.
