Sorry for reviving this thread but I would like to add some feedback about that map and don't want to make another thread about the same topic.

Map looks great. It has very realistic feeling about the jungle but it's too dark IMHO. I've been playing this map couple times last week and every time CQB in the jungle areas were very chaotic.
TBH I can't see enemies on this map unless I spot tracers or muzzle flash.. or they move. I thought it's the matter of my graphic settings (almost all on low, couple on mid) but my clan mate is playing on all high settings and he has the same problem.
The current light setting on this map benefits camping because you blend in to the environment almost perfectly. IDK if having a scope helps on this map since I've been playing as a medic every time but Tad Sae is the only map in PR where enemies are almost invisible and I can't spot them. Every other jungle/forest map is ok but shadows on Tad Sae are just too dark...

-The things you object to are the very things that make it such a good and unique map. Treading carefully through the forest, your eyes peeled in the hope of detecting your foe sneaking about before he does, from the careful maneuvering of squads in order to obtain a strategically superior position to the chaotic CQC where your individual skill is tested extensively. It is about the only map where, despite the static flag objectives, the battles take place all across the map and the terrain is instrumental in achieving success.

Ditto to Tartantyco. I actually like the fact that the shadows get in your way. Last night on TnT I ran a squad on the chinese squad. We capped the first objective and then slowly moved in two parallel fireteams toward the south of the map. Soon the squad in front of us was taking fire. I saw half a helmet and some muzzle flash/smoke and laid down some slow deliberate fire on the target while the other half of the squad moved in. It was a pitched battle and confusion reigned once the enemy had moved into our position but it was exciting. We had to use our ears much more to know where the enemy was. Again, it was exciting and going stealth on this map is truly possible.

The round did end very quickly since we capped out the USMC side but I sounds like this issue of rounds ending very quickly will be addressed for a future release. To be honest though, having a map in the rotation that usually ends quickly is a nice change of pace when you spend over an hour on most maps slugging it out with the enemy. On Tad Sae last night, building forward outposts was almost a liability since the map is so small and one team can rush the two objectives quickly enough to cap out the other side. If one side spends the first 10 minutes building assets it might find that its last flag is gray before construction ends and then the round is over.

All in all it is a good map for the rotation because it offers something very different and should be a favorite for infantry freaks.

Yes. It's "unique"...

Sounds good in theory but I know this map from the current public games point of view and It also happens to be different.
There are only two neutral flags and teams rushing to both of them at the same time (one group is going to current objective while the other is trying to block the enemy). There is no time to play it carefully. If you play carefully and tactical then you're moving slow, and if enemy is rushing then you'll loose the flags in no time and the round ends in 15-20 minutes. Personally I think that new flag layout could help a little bit but that's only me.

Some of you may disagree with me and that's fine since we've got different opinions. I've already posted my feedback and that's what I wanted to do.

Cheers...

Well, to be honest, the map is probably supposed to represent a a basic Forrest scenario. In real life, not every battle has some sort of flashy effect to it. Common battlefields these days take place in a small village, and thats it. Take a look at Al Basrah, the small villa a bit to the right of the center is a common battleground. Just take out the big city itself, and the operations base. The allies would probably use the small outpost a main base. And the insurgents would take position in the village. Sorry to veer off - topic a bit. I am just trying to point out a common situation, and the strategies played in it.

Don't mind me but I personally despise Tad Sae. I really dislike its repetitiveness, it's the same map over and over and over. I either quit when it comes on or try to cap out the enemy (which is incredibly easy given the ridiculously large cap zones) so the game ends in less than 5 minutes.

I liked it better with Humvees and the like, and personally I really think it would benefit from Armour support with a little tweaking to the layout. The current version of it really just has no feel to it in my opinion and as I said this map is the most repetitive (for me) out of every map currently in PR.

Map is a bit empty though, you're right about that.
