I can see why you chose to give the collaborator a higher spawn time, to prevent them from simply running into enemy fire. But two whole minutes? It really does get a little ridiculous, not once was I arrested or even attempted at being arrested, no-one but me played the class for I assume this reason and the US did not check their targets at all because they don't seem to understand the civilian thing.
I reccomend the time be toned down to something more like 60 seconds, far higher than other insurgents and higher than most conventional troops. Also I didn't seem to notice much of a punishment for the people that did kill civvies, maybe a pop up message telling them what they had done - so they know why they have to wait ages to spawn. At the moment collaborator is just unplayable, and while I hope that more people will come to understand they should not kill civvies I think that if no-one plays as them, how will they? EDIT: Whilst I have not been able to test this out (Due to no-one playing collaborator) I have been informed that players do not recieve a penalty unless they kill two or three civvies in one life, to me this seems to be a bad idea which will simply encourage ignoring the rules - What's the life expectancy of a soldier anyway? |

I personally liked the .756 Civilian spawning where you got a regular spawn for just dying, but you got a longer spawn when captured.

I agree with EOD, I don't know what is with this change, civies were not a real big problem in .7, and I think now with no rocks it should of stayed the same.

Civies still have rocks...
and in .756, they often jumped in the line of fire to get killed. That's not what the DEVs want them to do. |

More punishment for coalition forces, and a world chat message saying "xyz killed a civilian". Thats my opinion.

so bosco.. you're pretty much saying that even those civi's that stay back out of the line of fire and get shot anyway, still deserve a 2 min timer.
when did PR start becoming a game where you sit looking at a Black screen with 200- seconds vs. a game you enjoy playing. |

I've been Collaborator for a whole round once. That is, 10 minutes of gameplay for me.
It was really cool to hide on balcony, throwing field dressing at friendly troops while throwing rocks at the infidels across the street but the second you stay on the ground you get killed by some trigger happy guy. I know that the release is still new but even when the trigger happy will be gone, I don't want to stare at a black screen for 2 minutes. Give me the spectator cam at least. The worst part was when I entered a technical and got killed because it got a gun, I had to wait for around 4 minutes, then I respawned on a grenade and had to wait 2 more minutes. Then I said to myself "oh, I should go on a roof" and was sniped, waiting for 2 more minutes. 8 minutes where I only played for about one. |

I seriously thought this was a bug because i could't believe they would do such a thing.
TWO MINUTES each time you die? On the insurgent side, the most die happy side off all? It's just ridiculous. |
