I agree that Civis need less punishment, I've recently played a server where there was not 1 Civi on a 32 player insurgents team. They would rather die and wait the default spawn time for an insurgent, Instead of being killed as a Civi.
Civilian either needs a buff, reduced spawn time, or taken out of the game. |

I do enjoy playing the civ. class, but when I get shot at and throw up my hands 9 out of 10 times the person will continue to fire, even when I notice a pause in the firing, it starts up again.
I don't know how exactly the punishment system works, but I've heard you can be killed within 60 seconds of switching from something back to unarmed, and your killer wont get penalized. Is this true? Maybe civs should be able to suicide bomb? With a huge time penalty of course. I'd make a complete suggestion on this idea if I had 25 posts... |

2 minutes is too long to wait but if it's got to be that long, give them ammo bags!

Punishment should be different for those who kills civis.
1st kill would be spawn time 2nd kill of a civi would result in being discharged(Die for killing a Civi) from the battlefield with the same spawn time. Stuff liek that |

i think the civi class should be replaced with a suicide bomber. its posible to do that, only thing needed is a vest for explosives.

The civi system seems broken. 9 times out of 10 they wont even be punished!
I need a review of what exactly are the ROE for the civie. Sometimes I have just spawned, and have not put anything in my hand. I get shot...they dont get punished. So I (eventually) respawn, and I get shot with my hands up, and they dont seem to get punished. Sometimes I am literally just standing in the road and I get one shotted by some sniper somewhere. Civies are a REALISTIC thing in insurgency battles. I was reading stories from Iraq and Afgan, and they have civilians helping them, it is a fact of life. I also think that the time you can shoot them should be reduced to 30 seconds. Cause lets face it, 60 seconds is a LONG time in this game. Did the shotgun glitch ever get fixed when you shoot civis with a breeching round? maybe they should take away a kill count (go into negatives?) when you shoot a civi outside of ROE? Cause lets face it, a lot of people just play this to get the most kills, so maybe taking one away will help stop the itchy trigger fingers. I would also like a global message instead of a personal message when someone kills a civie. I had a civie chucking rocks at me, so I decided to shoot him, cause someone told me it was if they had ANYTHING in their hands. I get a message at the bottom left telling me about it. That would be nice globally. That way you know who did it when they get punished Sorry, I know this is over done, but I just had a bad round as a civi Quote:
