Maybe it was infantry but we had a rally up on Muttrah the other day that kept dying every time the LAV cruised by.

It should not be like that, only infantry are suppose to be able to kill it by walking passed.

i always try and use at least a little bit of stealth. the thing is, even if the enemy moves 2 meters past my rally but doesn't notice it, then it shouldn't go away.
i mean, if my squad and I were able to sneak behind the enemy, I don't see why reinforcements shouldn't be able to sneak in.

SHould remain there but unspawnable so long as enemies are close to prevent spawnrape but have to knife the rally like back in the day to kill it. Now its back like in .8 where your rally just vanishes every 5 minutes because somebody wandered by.

Anyone confirm 0.86's new RP "vanish-distance" and number of enemy required to make it vanish? Seems that the distance and number of people required has been decreased.

yes...the magic bag from which soldiers appear like Harry Potter from the magic tent shoud definately not disappear CUZ ITS REALISTIC..... :/


distance is 50m, people has been decreased to 2

i didnt say it was realistic, im saying it represents reinforcements moving to this point. Even if it is behind enemy lines, if i can sneak in, why can't they?

They can, either get ur Rally point 50m away from the enemy...which really isn't hard to do if you have suck through their lines with a buddy.

Or, invent the transporter from Star Trek so that you can beam ur men in to battlewhereever you like.

It is easy to get past this problem, never attack from the direction your rally was!
