Well it depend mostly on situation you are in but because most of PR battles are placed in open areas then Scoped Rifle would be the best choice.
Although i vote for Both simply because they both can be same effective if used properly. |

Scoped. If I'm not medic/tired of my team getting raped/insta-dead with no chance for me to medic them. Then I get ticked and take the ACOG.
For me, the ACOG doesnt give me any negative side effects to warrant taking iron sights in any situation. The closer they are it gets a *bit* trickier, but still, ACOG for me is just a great +3 to my attack range and effectiveness with no negative stats. |

Do you people who say you use iron sights for CQB actually use it? I mean, sure it seems smarter but I just forget to change it at times, and I never really stay in CQB situations for longer than 2 mins, after which I have to carry the iron sights into the open.

Back in .7, every would go scoped riflemen, and some poor sap had to go iron sights rifleman for ammo. Thanks to .75 update, both riflemen get ammo.
Scopes are great at long range. Jabal and the mountains of Ejod are good examples. Iron sights are handy in close quarters like the inner city of Ejod or Basrah. Scopes are too zoomed in and have too much recoil up close, while sights, easy to bring up, are only good at short-medium range. I usually choose scoped rifleman, because I'm a long-range guy, and mainly a back unit to supply ammo and cover fire. I'll leave the job of Rambo to the other squads. |
