have you ever modeled something? I can't do such deep hole to a deployable thing, or it will be floating above the ground, even more this its only a representation of Farc hideout.
just like the Taliban hideout, try to Google it, there’s nothing to do with actual model in the game.

for static things its possible, but you must make a hole into the terrain so you can put it inside. like this

This tunnel is badass, could make a nice static for maps...
And as for your hideouts, awesome job! Also, I agree you could hide the fake hole with some canvas sheet (camo) or fake doors? Because like we know and you show it in your last post, it's impossible with BF2 to make tunnels; and your hideout is a fake hole which we can see and IMO doesn't look great... But if you add a fake door (made made of wood like the roof) or a canvas, then it will look like there is a tunnel behind? You see what I mean?

Anyway, again, awesome job Salmonella!!!

That tunnel you made looks great, I can see it blending in well amongst hilly terrain and very hard to spot in a jungle until you're right up close to it.

I understand the inherent limitations of the engine, which is exactly why I'm proposing that you'd put a hatch on the enterance to conceal the fact that this "tunnel" is but a shallow pit. Whenever you can't realistically depict things, leave it to the imagination if you can.

Cool, I guess it's a good solution. The roof acts as a trapdoor and we can see the radio coming out.

But if you want to make it like a tunnel/door entrance in the first pictures, try to make the same thing than in the picture and put a canvas or door to hide the fake entrance. This way it will look like a real entrance but hide by the door or canvas sheet.

I think it's up to you as the static creator, and your mod team as a whole, to decide how you want it to look. Whichever you go with, I think it's looking very good, can't wait to see it ingame
