So I've been spending the past few days off PR to mod Clivewill's F-14 Tomcat to make it more realistic for personal use (at least that is intended). I've got the cameras, speed, and take off and landing done. But one thing thats bugging me is the turn ratios. I've been trying to get them right, but lately I've been struggling around these few settings. MinRotation, and MaxRotation, and the differential. The only place I've gotten so far is making the jet super manuverable. Something I'm not in the pursuit of. So is there anyone whos experienced in the field of aircraft help me?
My Mistake, I didn't exactly explain what I'm trying to achieve, I want to make the thing less Maneuverable, but more sensitive to movement. On a lighter note, if anyone is familiar with Clivewill's Tomcat, then you'd know that its installed sorta weirdly, and what I mean is outside the object .zip files, thus preventing me from exploring it in the Editor. Could someone help? |

if you have all your objects extracted you can also extract the f-14 into the objects folder and load it up in the editor

I tried to extract the files and import them into their proper object folders, but it didn't show up in the editor still.
But alas, I was able to somewhat modify the handling to make it less agile. I spent 2 hours modifying the wrong flaps and ailerons. Edit: Still running into problems. The attachment is basically what I'm trying to edit. I'm trying to decrease the banking radius so that the plane can't turn as fast. |
