Default [HELP] Mapping problems with bf2 editor.

Well few question,

They are more for FH2 the PR but having same problem with both so..the FH2 community has not helped so.

1. Spawn points,
Well basically when I go to add the two main spawn points on my map the window that says something like level settings, everything is blank..Like I can not select the factions..

2. There are no objects in my resources bar to the left, I have to manually import them all, And under mods / Mod manager / editor content (Afaik) there is nothing to check off. please help and TY!

ignore the first and click ok or whatever, the itll place it. We[PR, not sure about FH2] do our setup manually in the init.con file instead, so dont worry what it says as far as factions, just make sure the placed spawn point is attached to the correct CP.

Second issue... have you made a pr_edit mod folder? is that what youre loading from when you start the editor? did you unzip all the files in the objects folders? make sure you follow this thread:
http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f189...g-modding.html

Also, for the second issue, make sure all/at least objects/roads, etc are ticked in one of the menus similar to the last image you posted. Theres one that says something about "load on start up" or something... i can check later.

flyboy_fx...I haven't seen you ask about either of these problems on our forums

In regards to the level settings tab...don't worry about it. Its much better to set up your kits in the init.con manually. Have a look at an FH2 map to see how. PR has a different setup than we do though so be careful in which maps you look at.

My advice to you is that the first picture u dont need to worry about because u can amnually configure those settings with notepad or any other text editor like that. Just take a look at other FH2 maps .init files by opening them with notepad and you can copy and paste what u need over to ur init.

With the 2nd problem are u sure u extracted all the FH2 stuff properly because you have to put it in the right location/extract it to the right location b4 you will see it in the editor.
I think theres a sticky on the FH2 modding forums about it. something like "setting up Bf2 editor"
