I was wondering if people have or could make some hi-resolution pictures from 2 maps:
-Operation Archer -Korengal valley Since I cant run PR on the highest resolution I cant make them. Most important is that the buildings are on the map. I want to make a map, like the NATO staff maps. with buildings numbers etc.. I want to test the concept and see if it works better. I hope someone can help me. |

of the minimap man? Because i can run the game on high settings. I'll also edit the resolution on photoshop for ya. Make it around 300 px

If you want a minimap, get GIMP and look in client.zip/HUD/the only folder in there/inGameMap.dds fro the highest available resolution.
Otherwise, let people know what part of the map you want in-game screens of. If you plan on making a map from them, whycant you open them in the editor and have a look at the objects that are used? |

Sorry I was away for a while.
I have worked with Nato staff maps, for example we had a map of the Tarin kowt area in Uruzgan province. (Afghanistan). Every building and compound in the area where giving a specific number. So if we requested support, or get orders for a specific task everyone knew which building it was. So if i have a insurgency map, and rework the minimap, For example the commander can giver orders like: "Squad 1 clear the compounds 1 2 and 3. this way commanders could work really systematicly. You get the ID? edit: Thanks jonny found the Minimaps, sometimes I see mapers who have a very hi-res pic for there map ingame, that was what I was looking for, but this wil work. |

humn, interresting but I think the minimap, its too "mini" for you to put numbers in each house.
The further you can go is spliting the keypad in quadrants, but it maybe confussing! ![]() that the greater res you can get for a 2x2km map. hope it helps. |
