Yeh, that was due to the Israelis shooting tank shells at civilians :O

It doesnt make much sense having finnish defence forces fighting anyone but ISAF/peacekeepers force would have alot more idea into it

About this suggestion the NH90 is not used as widely as the mi-8 transport helicopter

yea we just need to spend less time on incorporating community mods and instead developing the MEC, PLA and Russian factions to their full glory. But alas that is not our fate.

Finns only have 2 old Mi-8's that are being finally replaced by the 20+ new NH90s.

Actually the mi-8's are slowly being replaced my the NH90's and if there would be something like war whit russia most of the mi-8's would immediately be called back to active duty

I dont think there even are more than 2 of them in the whole country(EDIT: Apparently there are 4 or so stored somewhere but theyre obsolete and haven't been installed the extension pack) :P Those things were bought in the 70's(?) and have been installed some sort of service extension pack in 2006 wich will extend their service length to 2012. The last NH90's are supposed to be delivered by 2011-2012. But yes, we still use Mi-8s alot, since theyre just training peoples with the NH90s. But we have to look a little into the future, cos the faction isnt done in a day

Nothing major yet, i just started working on the kit geometries (extremely WIP) and figuring out a way to implement skis to BF2 engine.
