You seem to have this really well organised, well done.

You should DEFINATELY check with the DEVs about what you can use straight off existing PR weapons, there is no point in wasting time remodeling something that can be added to the model, fully skinned.

XKCD forums, in the middle of a perfectly sane conversation:
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Best post ever made!

EG: PPSh is made of win and quite possibly stamped sheet metal

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

ask some question

1. If I'm going to create a new faction, do I just copy the "Soldiers" file and adapt it?
2. I edited some soldier's skin from SF faction. DO I just need to copy the "Soldiers" file ?
3. The links in the sub forum "Texture Resources" of "Modding Tutorials" all lost

1:
There is a lot more to copy than that. You will have to check every file in every folder to make sure you get everything. The easiets way is to choose a faction PR added, like the russians or brits, and make a working copy of them before you edit anything. Make sure you try to keep the copy in seperate folders to the unmodified things, you dont want to be hunting for edited files when you come to send your new faction to the DEVs.

2:
The skin and model go together, so after you have got your working copy you will know where to put the skins, and then you need to ensure you are using the right player models.

3:
PM a DEV?
