same way we distinguish between every other faction. if the taiwanese faction is made, they most likely wont be wearing the same gear as the PLA, and will probably have differnet camos so really for anyone who is a PR player it shouldnt be too hard. id say you would have a harder time on MEC vs USMC maps and even they arent too hard to distinguish.

The ROC existed long before the PRC, so technically they didn't break away, but that's beside the point. More importantly, I really like this idea. In a World War where China is a primary combatant, chances are they would send a force at some point to take Formosa, so I'd really like to see this scenario in PR. And of course, this would act as another great way to use the PLANM faction when it comes about.

I'm really looking forward to see our military force show in PR.

Conflicts between Taiwan and China is a prominent issue in east-asia.

If anyone is interested in our plan, please contact us(the guy above me:nozumu). We will be very grateful if you can work with us

Well, they speak chinese and need only to be reskinned and few weapon models are needed so it doesn't seem to be a huge work. I like it.

Sometime Taiwanese speak taiwanese instead of Chinese sometimes.

Some Taiwanese even speak hakka or other aborigine dialects.

So it's quite common Taiwanese soldier talk in a mix of Chinese and Taiwanese since sometimes the expression would become stronger...in some way.

Nozumu and Eric's team have dedicated a lot to Taiwan's PR community and has good relation with Chinese PR community.

Has anyone played FreeFalcon5 PMC Taiwan theatre, it rocks!!!! lol...
(sorry, I just fried my brain due to excessive PR playing XD)

Actually,I have a basic question.
How many you know about Taiwan Armed Army?
I think many information can be find on the internet,
like tanks, guns, helicopters and jet.

But we are Taiwanese,
Many sound effect need "real" Taiwanese to do it,
we know more about Taiwan Army,
and also the cities, the stress and the island,
we can do it better,
nozumu is have many projects, and some projects is complete,
I think you could go to the website from nozumu,
and we can what is you and our next step,
maybe we can get teamwork, who knows?
But need nozumu and the other crews apply.......

The CM32 will count as an IFV, not an APC. (yes, there is a difference, IFVs are built for thicker combat)

You will probably want to use different cammo patterns based on environment, rather have a single pattern based on what part of the armed forces you are making. This way you can use ALL the equipment the armed forces use, rather than limit yourself to a single branch. Far better for gameplay this way.

I hope these charachters are not modeled onto the side of the gun?

I can help mappers with a few coding things & advise about some other things, if you would like, as I am doing for the PLANM faction. Also, map sizes are VERY important, please make sure you list them along with the name, mapper, primary game mode, and location. It helps when considering VDs, assets, flag placement, etc.

You may want to get your modelers posting threads on these forums, so DEVs are more aware of what is going on. They can help you make a really good model that has very little performance impact, and they will be coding the model before it goes anywhere near any PR releases.

Reference photos from the region are hard for us to find, since its impossible for us to search through any mandarin text to find where a photo was taken, when, what part of the area it shows, etc. So any mapping refs for PR maps based in SE Asia would REALLY help us out a lot. Similarly, any statics that fit in the area that we could use for PLA or PLANM maps would also help us out a lot.

Looks like you have a good plan though. I think you could do with a beta map chosen from those currently in PR for testing cammo, flags, coding changes to add the faction name, etc. Bi ming, OGT or Sunset are good candidates for this, IMO. PLA vs RoC might fit well on these.

XKCD forums, in the middle of a perfectly sane conversation:
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Best post ever made!

EG: PPSh is made of win and quite possibly stamped sheet metal

i suggest let's get together to make a team here.

we are the local .

it's much correct than the internet can found .
