Who said it wouldnt be included?

The mini mod is there to try out new ideas, any of which may or may not be included depending on how polished / signifigant the changes may be.

Well, CAS himself said that its very unlikely. And since you seem to have a teamwork>realism mindset and is one of the lead DEVs, im guessing that you are not exactly willing to get this into the mod.

But how would these things make the game less teamwork based you guys are just talking nonsense here. Real deviation on dumb fire rockets? If anything that will make it so sniping with your hydras is impossible, hellfires hitting from above would be cool and realistic especially if they got that to work for the javelin shoulder fired missile.

As long as with the jet guided missiles you still needed someone to laze the targets for you all these features would only add realism to the game and would not take any teamwork away from anything stop being ridiculous, CAS has done an excellent job on all the things he has been working on and I doubt the PR devs are just ignoring his work because its too damn good.

At first I wondered the same questions. Which is only natural when something new is created. Though, there are different applications in-game. Yes, the Mavericks can lock on, but not only on occupied enemy vehicles (unless you're the host for a local server, in which case it's just a bug ). Rather, once you believe you've seen a target, you must maintain the camera within so many degrees of the target. While that in itself is nothing, what is limiting is the fact that you can lock onto almost anything that looks like a vehicle. Wrecked tank corpses, unoccupied ones, and operational ones can all potentially be locked onto. And from 1000 meters away flying at high speeds, I'd imagine jets wouldn't be able to effectively work without visual confirmations from the ground.

Sure, you could *possibly* try and do it without any cooperation, but so can you now, with the A-10 for instance and it's GAU-8. Just be prepared to eat AA missiles, especially when they get radar and farther ranges.

Frankly, it's quite true that most of the modifications are done with air assets, as Rudd has stated, because it's mainly the work of CAS and Alex, both of whom have experience working with them. Though the changes I have seen are all quite nice and evidently doable.

"a mod for a mod" why not ? PR changed so much more beyond what other mods did. Why not take the deviation etc. and reskin PR to whatever you want, like a vietnam mod and what not.
