High priority for USA vs CCCP, but keep in mind for after that doing USSR allies is easy as they are using mostly soviet equipments. Like the DDR (East Germany) would only need a new truck and perhaps some few more vehicles.

The problem will only be for the USSR and its allies about the player models. MEC could be a good placeholder, but we really need some new models (especially the helmet)
Yes your right the USSR and DDR2 (sorry could help putting that in ) are very similar while the US and West Ger. are more indiependent from each others technoogies.

Right now MEC soldier models will be a good substitute for the Soviet soldiers, since they have the most similar in helmet shape.

Your idea for the name gave me another idea, "Red Reality" Although it isnt so obvious what it is...

Oh yeah remember, the Murmansk map from WiC, yeah we need to wait for the snow to get that one underway, not to mention the Snow camo skins.

No offence but some of those names give off the wrong impression (like the mods gona be packed with nukes and weapons of mass dissruction) "Fate of the World is not specific to the minimod. But Project Red Storm sounds good. , i know your trying to relate to WiC but les keep the names short a sweet. Prefrably, "Project"...something..

Design Plan 1.Google Spreadsheet Link

BTW:Ive made the fist mod design plan....it isnt really a plan yet but im gonna add more tommoro.

I definitely like Project Red Storm, but if you're looking for something a little more flavourful, maybe something like Project Krasniy Shtorm (Красный шторм - I believe that's the correct translation into Russian... anybody confirm that?) would add that little extra defining factor, make it a little more unique and recognisable as well as sounding awesome.

EDIT: Just realised, post 100! Excellent.

I've picked these so far
  1. Project Red Storm
  2. Project Red Bear
  3. Operation Red Bear (Could be a map...)
  4. Cold Reality

Other suitible names would be good if they include Project or Reality.

Other Original names would be good, similar to World In Conflict... you know something along those lines. But not something that sounds a bit strange.

A Cold Reality sounds the best IMO

And for weapons we'll need the M16A2 or A1 as the main battle rifle, and maybe the M3 "Grease Gun" for crewmen and the M249 should be fine for the automatic rifleman, along with the M14 (With a proper wood stock).
We may also need new player models that reflect ALICE webbing, as opposed to MOLLE/PALS webbing. I believe the current models already use the PASGT helmet, and I was able to skin on the proper protective vest in my ~1989 skins already. (I need to figure out which external drive they're sitting on, so I'm working on getting them to you)
Do we want to represent the US Army or USMC in this? The only big difference I see right now is using either the AH-1 or AH-64 and the UH-1 or UH-60 for the Marines or Army, respectively. However, the USMC helicopters are a much more modern variation than their Cold War counterparts.
