I would definitely help model a few things if I have spare time. Cold War is one of my favorite Eras, This would be an awesome Community mod maybe have like the Invasion of Berlin and such.

Indeed thats why im thinking of making the NATO faction, primarity based of the west German army. Although the NATO/German factions will come after the US and USSR Factions have been made, sorry. The US and USSR factions will concentrate on the invasion of America.
While a NATO(West German with european aircraft) and Soviet theatre will be made later in Europe. Maybe with (East Germans).

We also need a name for this mod.
Any ideas? I was thinking Project 1989, or something with 1980s in it.

Why not Cold Reality ^_^

High priority for USA vs CCCP, but keep in mind for after that doing USSR allies is easy as they are using mostly soviet equipments. Like the DDR (East Germany) would only need a new truck and perhaps some few more vehicles.

The problem will only be for the USSR and its allies about the player models. MEC could be a good placeholder, but we really need some new models (especially the helmet)
