Hey there. Just gave you a bit more describing thread title.

I will dig up a few good ones that helped me out when I started out.

Here we are:

Creating a weapon for Source "Glock tutorial"

Part 1: modeling the weapon
http://www.moddb.com/tutorials/creat...pon-for-source

Part 2: unwrapping and texturing the weapon
http://www.moddb.com/tutorials/creat...-source-part-2

Part 3: rigging, animating and importing into Source engine
http://www.moddb.com/tutorials/creat...-source-part-3

Alternative modeling vid "Beretta tutorial"
http://www.moddb.com/tutorials/beret...video-tutorial

Small beginner vids. Anoying video player but some good ones for beginning and understanding 3ds max.
http://www.video-tutes.com/packages/3d1.php

Other than that I can recommend using autodesks own tutorials. they have some long .pdf's on a lot of subjects.

General questions and problems are frequently asked here in this forum so feel free to post pics and ask if you run into problems.

Good hunting

Seeing as it's a LAW under another name, most of it will be the tube (Cylinder) the ridge down the back, whihch can be done with manupulating boxes and whatever else is on it. I find the easiest thing to do is to take primitive objects then change htem
