Default [?] export object

Hi all been bit bored thought would have a go at making an object for bf2.

well followed Rhino's export guide but gettintg a saveMaterial error.





also with col0 is there no reason why i couldnt just make a box with the same material, does it have to be a clone. ( doing with clone this one )


Poly count would this be too many

what version of 3DsMax are you using? you can not export any objects espically vehicles and weapons with anything above max9 since errors happen.

using version 2008. says commercial 10 so suppose will have to find earlier version.

It's not a vehicle its an ammo box thought something nice and simple to start with., as you can see from the picture a nice simple static or that's what I first thought.

ye, I can see its a simple object via your setup, I said espically with vehicles and weapons since there setup are far more complicated.

Yeah downloading 7 and will give that a try, dunno how you put up with the buggness of the programs .
