Default [Question] 3ds max 9?

ok this might sound stupid but im new at this and trying to teach myself how to model but can autodesk 3Ds max 9 be used to make models for bf2?? or did i just waste alot of time downloading it

Yea, max 9 is the highest version I know that works with the necessary tools.

nope if you can do some tweaking on youre own you even can get 2009 working *2008 works to *

not fully. Max 9 is the highest fully supported version. Max 2009 etc become really buggy on export and any self respecting exporter will backport a model from max 2009 to max 9 before exporting which can leave some model bugs, for the best model you want to make the model in max 9 (or then there is no issues.

I've managed to export my FAL w/ Max 2k9, but all faces were flipped, dunno if that's because it didn't had a texture or if it was a bug during the export...

Now I have to bug the bug, I'll try to export it with every face flipped, so if the exporter is flipping the faces it will flip'em into the right place!
