but i think the main focus shuld be maps! really, because most faction lack on them and most of the weapos etc for this faction are in the making or already in game, so just get mappers to work and in about 6 mounths you could think about kit layouts and such things

I definitely agree with you. I just intended to explain that there are certain differences between MEC and TAF, thats why i thought TAF also deserves to be in PR. Because some people think that there are no differences between MEC and TAF so adding TAF would be useless. I just do not agree with that.

And again, i hope we can find some talented people to do this. As you say, especially for the maps. Cuz Northern Iraq, for example, has a very different and though landscape. I know the deal cuz i've been there for almost 10 years.

although the Turkish forces might be an interesting idea, there are already similar factions; MEC for instance. Finish up the more advanced factions so we can enjoy.

You didn't read the 10 posts above did you?

And I don't see how being more ''advanced'' makes a faction more important.

I still cant believe this topic is still ongoing. Everyone has put more pictures and ideas into this thread then into any other I have ever seen, but....... a model, map, or code doesn't happen from posting pictures or saying "This gun would be leet!" If you would like this to be done, download some mod tools and start messing around.

And this arguement of it being like the MEC was discussed before by me and Rezza. And since the Turkish army wont be using too much MEC stuff they wouldn't be even close to alike. So as i said before, go and grab mod tools and make it happen cause its not heading there like this.

Here you got plenty of tutorials, hope it can help
Modding Tutorials - Project Reality Forums

Also, try to look on google you may find a clue, or ask in FH2 forum as they exported some models from BF42.

Hope you can make it as the Turkish army is really important in this area of the world. Thought, if you are doing a Turkish faction, they should have a Cyprus map with the Cyprus National Guard.

I found some pictures of the Attila/Green line, Nikosia and the other cities of Northen Cyprus and Cyprus. Looks interesting, it could make an awesome map even if sadly this subject is of actuality as Nicosia is the last capital of the world cut in two by a demarkation line... Perhaps not the best idea because people used to be killed on this line not too long ago. It's an hot subject.

For the Cypriot vehicles and weapons: we already get most of them with PR, the community and BSS:

Cypriot G-3

Cypriot National Guard Photo Thread - Page 4 - Military Photos

Cypriot T-80U

Greek M48A5 stationed in Cyprus

Cypriot BMP-33

Cypriot VAB

Cypriot/Greek Mercedez Jeep

And we shouldn't forget the Japanese pick-ups used on both sides.

Cypriot Gazelle

Cypriot Mi-35

Or if you prefer, I have pictures of the Greek army (I was in Athens during the military parade this year)

AND YES, PEPSI WILL RULE TURKEY hahahaha

I go to Greece (Kos/Rhodes) for vacation a lot so i can help on the intel part, work out map idea's.
Most of their weapons are allready ingame or in development.

Cheers,
Glimmer
