Default [Coding] e-Gor's world of insanity.

So... having already made space invaders in BF2, (or at least, started - that link's fairly WIP...) I decided to go one further. Can you guess what it is yet?

You can blame Brummy for this one - he seemed so inconsolable after his MSN billiards trial ran out, I just had to help him out.

Still in the early PoC/WIP stages atm - currently still got a few physics issues to iron out. It will eventually be on a proper pool table instead of the ground.

Next is the fun part - changing it from just a load of balls into a full 2 player game. It'll be standard british bar rules - or as close as I can get, anyway.

I'm thinking when it's done I might finish off space invaders, then create another game and bundle them all up in a minimod. Suggestions?

Hah, that's great! Now, you need a cue ball

Yeah, there is one, but for some reason it didn't spawn... probably just a typo, haven't looked into it yet.

So how does it work? Shoot the cue ball, it gains spin and direction depending on where you shoot it?

Yeah... I'll probably replace the M16 with a cue model at some point. You shoot where you want to hit it, and it moves and gets spin as you would expect it to. It's just like a well chalked cue in RL
Not that you can see the spin on those balls - but I've been testing it with a different texture so it was obvious.

Brummy's already volunteered :P

I made a very simple, untextured one made for testing stuff, since I'm going to need some rather specific stuff done to the model for it all to work properly.
