Eh--I wouldn't want to be complete manager--maybe some kind of supervisor? I'm still working on my skinning skills and thinking about modelling.

The Leapard's turret could pass as a Type 90, but the 90's chassis is closer to the Abrams'.

Doesn't have the Type 64 (though I have uploaded a YouTube video of Type 64s at a range), the OH1, or the Carl-Gustav (does have the Panzerfaust though). That Minimi sound is awesome.

The whole "Japan only has a defensive Army" is about as real as 1938 Germany not being armed offensively.

They are one of the world's top military spenders.

We previously approached the CQB guys about collaboration and/or Black Sand Studios, but they were not interested.

The Dev Team is all for seeing community efforts spring up .. but we won't endorse or support them until a decent plan is put forward, including some resource commitments from the community.

Technically, they are only a defensive force. Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution forbids warefare, with the exception of self-defense.

Define "plan" and "resources".

Which is why, earlier, I said the storyline would be PLA invasion of the Japanese home islands, thus making it self-defense

I actually have a map still in cencept on the Chinese invading a souther Japanese island (around Okinawa) with the USMC going, but if the JSDF is added, i could try make it for them...

Btw, your video of the Type 89 is at the top of a youtube search of 'type 89"
