I think I might have put this thread in the wrong section, could an admin or moderator move it if it's in the wrong place?
Hi, Not sure if I am the only one who had this problem, but I will post it anyways My problem was that I was unable to bind the POV Hat directions to Bf2Freelook, so I tried to figgure out a way to bypass that. I ended up modifying a script for AutoHotkey and setting it up to work they way I wanted. After some changing in the code I managed to get it working ingame So if there are other PR players who are not able to bind their POV Hat keys to BF2Freelook and really wants to be able to use it ingame here is the way I did it: 1. You will need:

If PR allready has the POV system built in, I suppose people could still use the script, but just skip the part which is about using freelook as a "brigde" into the game? And instead set up the ingame controls to match up with the numpad numbers. | |

If you have a Saitek stick, then you can download it here: Download Saitek Drivers and Software | Saitek.com
Download latest drivers, but mainly the bit you need is the latest "software", then just program it as per my above pic Only slightly complicated bit is the central position, which you need to program an "advance key press" on, which is 1 pushed, then released 1ms after its pushed, so that its not constantly pushing the 1 key when you have your hat switch in the centre, but this enables you to go back to normal, frontal view when you've stopped looking around. |
