Automatic Fire Mode For Singleplayer

Well, I'm Aware That There Are Many Threads Regarding About This But Is There Atleast A Possible Way To Turn On Auto Fire? I Only Play COOP/Singleplayer, I Never Played Online Cuz My Internet Connection Is Slow As Crap, The Reason I Downloaded PR Cuz It Made Bf2 Look Like BF3, Except There Are No Auto Fire Mode, I've Seen Bots Fire Their m4's Rapidly Which I Can't Do, If You Guys Ever Teach Me, I Swear Not To Use It As An Advantage On Online (Since I Never Play Online), I'll Only Use It Against Bots, Well, Thanks

Press X to change your firemode. It's not a cheat, trust me. You can use it online.

Well The Problem Is, It's Only Semi And Burst Fire

You probably wield a M16 and not a M4, which only has semi and burst.

So does the M4 that the US use. The M4A1 has fully auto, and most if not all M4's in the USA/USMC kit loadout are single/burst M4's.

I Started To Open .Tweak Files And COmparing It With The Default BF2 .Tweak Files, But All I See Is Single Fire Scriptings

Go to Program files, EA games, BF2, mods, pr, objects.

Open weapons_server.zip and go to weapons\Handheld.

Find the one you want. I guess usrif_m4aimpoint but you may want to change all as there are versions for scope, ironsights etc.

Open the .tweak file inside the weapon folder (with notepad).

Change;

ObjectTemplate.fire.addFireRate 1

to;

ObjectTemplate.fire.addFireRate 2

Save and exit notepad and it should update the file in the zip (should ask you to do so I think).

And thats it!

There are many weapon versions and many tweaks so you may want to spend a few mins changing the ones you want.

Edit: Just a warning, you may want to back up the .zip file, because after changing this if you do choose to play online you will need to use the original files.

There Are 2 ObjectTemplate.fire.addFireRate, One Is 0 And The Other One says 1, Should I Replace 2 To Both Of Them?
