If I'm not totally wrong, those voices in Normandy were taken from ArmA 2 (maybe stolen, maybe the Devs have an agreement with BIS because of PR A2).

Regarding the 0.5 update.
BH style of sound is the correct way to do it, blades are slapping the air, apply to other choppers and ofcourse, less blades and wider blades, heavier and slower the wound, more and thinner blades, less slapping and more smooth. Gun sounds, really good, has the boom and the metal sound, like it should be. Except the loud boom at the end of 50.cal firing cycle, its weird. And MP7 is a bit deep, dont know if it should be like that? THe US voices a re funny. This is going to be so epic in 1.0 if it gets implemented officially! Distant explosions a bit too loud maybe? |

I personally think the M14 is too quiet. I've has this 30-06 recording on my comp for a while now. (very similar to the 762x51, 30-06 is 762x63)
