Now if someone had said that this release was the final product for the mod, and not an ON GOING WORK IN PROGRESS,and you HAD PAID for the game then sure, you would be entitled to complain to the people you BROUGHT it from.
Yes there some problems, but imo thats to be expected with a release of this scale, I had problems with CTD's and worse than 0.874 performance, but instead of stomping my foot and whinging like a brat who didn't get the game they wanted from their parents for Christmas I asked around and got it sorted. Watch a clip from say 0.4 then one from 0.9 and think good thoughts about the effort that has gone into the last 5 versions and patches. (how did you manage to post nuthzin there Snazz ?, trick keeeeeee Although I wish some of the people that have made non constructive posts without backing up their negativity with reasons had followed your lead |

Indeed, some don't realize the value of elaboration and a constructive approach.

I love PR, I don't play anything else.
Since PR 0.9 like another poster 10 minutes of gameplay with three hours of lowering settings, switching off X fire, twin screen, reloading pb.exe setup etc etc,so far I am at three evenings spent tweaking/trolling forums and Mumbling with my Pr colleagues. I will continue for two more nights whilst recording (on paper) what resolves or not any issues. I am laggy, with frequent CTDs now, I will perseviere a few nights, then if no luck with great sadness I have no choice but to quit. As another poster my machine should handle PR no problems Vista 32 2.6Ghz Nvidia 9600GT 4mB RAM etc..... Once I have researched more I will ofc post in more depth about my findings. To be positive the tiny bit of playing I could enjoy before CTDing or lagging out was great! |

The list is everything that has changed since 0.87 'in reality'. Obviously you still haven't read it.
Quote:
0.9 was a major update you just fail to realize it, 0.88 would only be appropriate for a small patch like 0.86 and 0.87 were. Yeah? They're the same. I bet you're looking at the wrong faction. Quote:
Some vehicles now have acceleration delay, they're deliberately coded that way. It's not 'completely laggy' it has nothing to do with network synchronization. Obviously it doesn't ruin the fun for the rest of us, more people are playing PR then ever. The Huey has actually been slowed down, only 0.87 chopper that's faster is the Mi8 but it was too slow before. The Chinook is brand new and it's meant to be fast like it is in real life. There's nothing 'unfortunate' about it. Quote:
They have to be some of the silliest complaints I've ever seen on these forums.
