I have an issue. I don't think this build is Windows 7 capable, because I have a completely fresh install of BF2 and PR, but the PR.exe stops working upon attempted startup. Can anyone else confirm?

I had the siisue where it would get past password to main screen then tabs would show and scrren black, just deleted the icon of desktop reinstalled patch and its working again. That is really odd ????

PR should be working now as there was a problem with one of the main servers, and that has been fixed.

i have the same problem as Daishi. im running windows XP 32bit, when i try start pr it fails to open and comes up with an error report box. what the hell is going on!?\
can someone please help?

Anyone running windows 7 x64 get the 1.5 patch to install? When I run it I get an error...

"The verison of the file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer systems info to see if you need a 32 bit or 64 bit version."

I have tried running it in windows XP compatibility and Windows just says "program not compatible"

I have bee reading posts or over an hour and no luck...it ran fine on 1.41, is there a 64 bit version??

Please help!!!!

For some reason the .87 patch was telling me that .86 wasn't installed, so I had to end up downloading the full version.

Does the patch also update the levels, or do I need to download the whole 1.5GB levels install for 0.87?

AFAIK you need the 1.5gb levels install too, if you havent installed it from before.

If you have 0.86 Full installed, you only need the small 0.87 patch.

Just an observation that might help people with the error, 'you need to update BF2 to 1.5' when they already have......

I have noticed there are two main BF2 1.5 files...

one is a beta version which is only 1.3GB and the other is a 1.9GB version.

Not sure if the 1.3GB version is causing the problem or not.
