When I start PR reality It says I can't play because I haft to update BF 2 to version 1.5 but I have already done that. Please help?

I spoke to a lot of people online, and they said the only way they could get it working is with reinstalling all of BF2, patches, then downloading the whole 0.87 client and levels, (NOT THE UPGRADE), and then it worked... that just isn't right.
