Not only uninstall PR 0.61 but also delete all PR files manually from you BF2 directory and clear registry with some cleaning software and finally restart your PC before installing 0.7.
All this will make game run much better (faster) especially on slower PCs. |

I would just like to note that the distant sound effects sound amazing. Sound overall is a lot better now, creates a far better atmosphere. Almost seems like graphics improved too.

i dont find this version of PR very fun. it feels clunky and wierd, The aiming system is silly, i know its the only aiming system you could implement i just don't like the way it works, feels really cheap and unpolished. Sorry but i'm not just having fun with PR.
The inability to spawn on Squad leaders sucks to, i remember once DEVS were like "NO we won't get rid of SL spawn or minimap" and now we are missing both, getting rid of these is arguably realistic, but from a game design view it punches teamwork in the face. Its a CHORE to get to the fight, find your squad leader, gather everyone together then finally work out what to do and attack the next point, then when you FINALLY make it to the middle of the map you get mystery killed from ten miles away and have to spawn back at the main base because your SL forgot his officer kit. I know you have a narrow view of how you want the mod to be, but if you take every game mechanic away its going to make the game boring, and nobody wants that. I'm not saying you RUINED TEH EVERYTHING, but i think there are some bad decisions been made, and it sucks the fun out of a typical pub game, i think that PR 0.7 will be a blast in the tourny but i don't have the time to invest in that anymore. Yeah PR is still GOOD but not GREAT like it used to be. I have been following the mod since 0.2 so i haven't just came from BF2 pissed off that i can't get a sniper kit or anything. oh and the mec LMG is fucking great, |

PR Team, please don't let these arcade-whiners make you forget what Project Reality is about - realism. Please do not put SL spawn back.
Individual soldier's main priority in battlefield is to try to stay alive at all cost, dont you think? Not to rely on respawn on his/her SL. Thank You for a great mod. I'll look forward to v1.0. |

I knew someone would use the ARCADE NEWB remark at me, even though i enjoy realism as much as the DEVs do, its a game design issue not a realism one. Were not real soldiers and the BF2 engine will never allow this mod to be totally real, some of the mechanics we have just seem like there trying there best to work well but they don't. Fun is more important than making a walking simulator.

Battlefield engine will never be entirely real but specifically on the spawn issue we can try be as real as possible by not allowing people to spawn on their squad leaders.
