We had about 70 people show up.
The flag cap system didnt work, and alot of people were unable to connect because they were running god knows what sort of mods:P But yeah, we didnt have any lag at all. Next event will be even GREATER! Also, mortar support was pretty fun, but we should find a simpler way of communicating, the system i set up in TS was ineffective. Maybe for next time there will be at least some kind of organizing or leadership. This was a total disaster, sorry.

No, it just lot's of people were playing Arma 2 for the first time, and didn't know the mechanics(what buttons to push). Besides, me and others could barely use the map and familiarize with its grids. All in all, movements in Arma 2 feels a little bit heavier than in BF2PR, that's why there was some feeling of uncomfortableness. High commanders were okay, but our squadleader was a newbie...

Shame everyone wanted to be BluFor
The map ran smoothly when we ([RIP]) were on, and no real issues apart from the map/flag capture mechanics not working. Apologies for leaving on masse after an hour, we had fun for a while. |
